HOUSTON – Feb. 12, 2016 – Spring ISD is committed to providing students with a quality education that prepares them to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and responsible citizens who are ready to contribute, compete and lead in today’s global society. To ensure we are reaching each student, we seek your input on the turnaround plan that is being developed with our stakeholders to improve Bammel Elementary School.
Based on student achievement levels, TEA requires schools rated “Improvement Required” or – IR schools – for two or more consecutive school years to create a turnaround plan listing the actions that must take place to improve student achievement. The plan for Bammel Elementary School will address the TEA requirements and should include details that address school programs and practices that need improvement. We seek to gather input from our community stakeholders to provide solutions to improve the academic performance at Bammel ES.
