Texas State University representative Kelly Tallerine answers questions from Westfield senior Raylon Knowles at Spring ISD’s College Night event.
HOUSTON – Oct. 17, 2016 – Westfield senior Raylon Knowles was one of many students making plans for the future at Spring ISD’s College Night event on Oct. 13 in the Spring High School Cafeteria. Knowles is interested in physical therapy and sports science and has already applied to Texas State University. The College Night event allowed Knowles to sit down face to face with a representative from the university to further discuss the school’s programs for his desired area of study.
Knowles says that College Night is valuable for any student considering college. “There is a lot of information here, and it’s very important to look at all the options and find a school that fits you,” said Knowles.
Spring ISD’s College Night brought over 200 representatives from colleges, universities and military branches to Spring High School. Hundreds of students and their families got answers to questions about programs of study, campus life, admission requirements and financial aid options at this annual event.
