HOUSTON – Jan. 26, 2017 – Spring ISD Board Trustee Donald Davis will be traveling to Washington D.C. to attend the Advocacy Institute Conference on Jan. 29-31.
Davis will be representing both Spring ISD and the state of Texas at the event that is sponsored annually by the National Association of School Boards and offers the opportunity for school board members from across the country to advocate for their school districts.
The event will include sessions on current topics, including legislative updates, and a keynote address by Doris Kearns Goodwin, world-renowned presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author.
