HOUSTON – Jan. 29, 2018 – The Westfield High School Mustang Madrigal Minstrels will debut the Boar’s Head Feast Renaissance Dinner on Feb. 2-3, featuring the history, language, culture and music from the Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque periods.
“I look forward to sharing the talents of the Westfield High School choir program, and debut of this innovative production with Spring ISD and our community,” said Joel Cruz, Westfield choir director. “This will be a chance to turn back time.”
Cruz went on to say that the goal of the dinner performance is to showcase the talent and growth of the school’s choral music program and to develop more connections with the community as Westfield works to become the premier school in the state for choral studies.
The dinner and performance will feature the newly formed Mustang Madrigal Minstrels costumed in 14th and 15th century attire and will include a five-course meal, a theatrical farce with a Valentine’s Day theme and a concert.
Guest seating will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. start on Friday, Feb. 2 and Saturday, Feb. 3 at the school. Tickets are $30 per person. Reservations can be made, and tickets can be purchased by calling 281-891-7227 or by emailing: westfieldhschamberchoir@gmail.com no later than Wednesday, Jan. 31. The dinner will be catered, so advance ticket purchases are essential.
