HOUSTON – Nov. 6, 2018 – Secondary report cards are being sent home this Friday and elementary report cards were sent home last week. But Spring ISD parents are always able to check in on their student’s progress at school by logging into the Home Access Center, also known as HAC.
“The Home Access Center is a great resource because it provides real-time updates on a student’s grades and attendance,” said Lupita Hinojosa, the chief of school leadership and support services. “We want all of our parents to know about HAC and to check there often for the latest information about their child.”
Getting access to HAC is easy via the mySpringISD link, found on every campus website, as well as the district website. Parents who aren’t sure of their log on information should contact their school. If you already have your mySpringISD username and password, getting to HAC is just a matter of logging in and then clicking on the Home Access Center icon.
“I go to HAC a couple of times a week,” said Spring ISD parent and staff member Heather Bollier. “It’s a good way to make sure my daughter doesn’t have any missing assignments and is staying on top of everything she needs to do to be successful in school.”
Another advantage of visiting HAC is being able to update your contact information, including email and phone number. By reviewing those two important items, parents can make sure they don’t miss out on important announcements and information throughout the school year.
“We hope to see more parents using the Home Access Center because it really is a great way to monitor what’s happening in the classroom,” Hinojosa said. “Of course, if anyone has any questions or problems, we’d ask that they call their school for help. Our staff is ready to assist with any log in issues.”
