HOUSTON – Oct. 10, 2019 – The Spring ISD Education Foundation is calling all golfers to participate in its “Tee Up For Education” Golf Tournament on Oct. 21 at the Northgate Country Club, 17110 Northgate Forest Dr, 77068. This will be the second tournament of the year, which will kick off with a Mancil Davis Golf Clinic at 10 a.m. before a shotgun start at noon.
Contests include a Hole-in-One with a $10,000 cash prize, Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and a Golf Cart Raffle. Non-golfers are welcome to join the golfers at 5:30 p.m. for a dinner and awards presentations.
“All funds raised from this tournament will directly benefit Spring ISD students, teachers and district programs,” said Spring ISD Education Foundation President Ken Grays. “This year, we will also be highlighting our commitment to childhood literacy and the Spring ISD Lift 6 initiative.”

Since its inception in 1993, the Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has awarded more than $1 million in innovative Spring ISD teacher grants and scholarships.
