The past several school years have been anything but typical. Although the pandemic has caused a lot of obstacles and issues in students’ education, school principals have persisted and led their campuses through some very difficult times. That is why Spring Independent School District is proud to celebrate National Principals Month!
Celebrated every October, National Principals Month is an opportunity for district leaders, elected officials, parents, students, teachers, and communities to celebrate and thank school principals for their tireless efforts and visionary leadership when it comes to student success.
“Our principals are the foundation of our schools,” said Dr. Rodney E Watson, Spring ISD Superintendent. “They provide a source of inspiration and leadership for our teachers, our students, and our families. Throughout this pandemic, they have fought for their students’ education, as well as their health and safety, often doing so in conditions that change daily. I am so proud of our principals across the district, and encourage everyone at every campus to recognize and honor their principals.”
If you would like to celebrate your school principal, post on social media, tag @Spring ISD, and use #WeLoveSpringPrincipals so we can share your tributes all month long.
