Spring ISD on Friday announced the Teachers of the Year for each of its 41 campuses – all selected to represent their schools in the district’s Teacher of the Year competition.
Among these individual campus Teachers of the Year, 10 will be selected as finalists for the district’s Teachers of Year. Five at the elementary level will be selected as finalists for the Elementary Teacher of the Year, and five at the middle and high school levels will be selected as finalists for the Secondary Teacher of the Year. The Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year will be announced at the Employee Recognition Banquet on Wednesday, May 11.
“These outstanding educators, who were selected by their peers, exemplify teaching excellence and serve as leaders not only in their classrooms, but among their fellow educators,” said Dr. Julie Hill, Chief of Human Resources and Human Capital Accountability. “It has been a challenging time for teachers, and our campus teachers of the year are innovating and finding ways to connect with students to foster excellent and equitable outcomes.”
