Spring ISD has named Bobby LaFleur as its new Officer of Information Technology. LaFleur has been with Spring ISD for seven years, previously serving as the Director of Application Support Services and Deputy Technology Officer.

LaFleur has more than 34 years of experience in project management, application support, system testing and development, billing and payables, and document management.
“Bobby LaFleur has dedicated almost a decade to the students and staff of Spring ISD, and we are delighted that he will continue to share his service and knowledge with us in this expanded role,” Chief Operations Officer Mark Miranda said. “In his seven years with this district, he has proven himself as an organized, highly-motivated, detail-oriented professional with a consistent track record. I know he will be able to keep Spring ISD in front of the technology curve, setting up both our students and our team members for success.”
As the Officer of Information Technology, LaFleur will work with district departments such as Academics, the Police Department, the School Leadership Office, the Office of the Superintendent, and Finance to develop and implement key projects to keep Spring ISD on the leading edge of technology.
This will include instructional technology updates for classrooms as well as business technology like accounting programs and other administrative software. LaFleur, as the Officer of Information Technology, will supervise all employees in the Information Technology Department.
Before his time with Spring ISD, LaFleur worked with Katy Independent School District as a project manager and business analyst. He began his career as a consultant and analyst in the energy industry. LaFleur attended the University of Houston-Downtown and Wharton County Junior College.
