As Spring ISD employees prepare for the new school year, the benefits enrollment period for the upcoming year is now open. All employees who wish to have benefits coverage from September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025, must complete their enrollment by August 6, 2024.

This year, Spring ISD has selected new benefits vendors. This decision was made through a process that involved a committee of employees – including teachers, operations staff, and central office staff – that represented departments and campuses throughout the district. 

Videos are available online to help employees understand more about the benefits available through the district. In addition, an Enrollment Guide and informational sessions will be available soon. 

Assistance will also be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the following days and locations:

• Monday, July 22 – Thursday, July 25 at Dekaney High School (22351 Imperial Valley, 77073) and Operations (24037 Hardy Rd., 77373)
• Monday, July 29 through Thursday, August 1 at Dekaney High School (22351 Imperial Valley, 77073) and Community Engagement (17125 Ella Blvd., 77090)
• Monday, August 5 and Tuesday, August 6 at the Administration Building (16717 Ella Blvd., 77090)

While the open enrollment period is mandatory, employees may choose to waive coverage. If an employee does not enroll and elect specific plans, that employee will lose medical, dental and vision coverage as of September 1, 2024.

Follow these steps to start the enrollment process:

• Go to https://my.springisd.org, and use your credentials to login securely through Spring ISD Staff Portal.
• Then access the Benefits Enrollment icon in the folder titled, “Employee”.
• Once logged in, click to start enrollment.
