Henry Suckie has been named as the new principal of Spring Leadership Academy. He most recently served as Lead Assistant Principal at Forest Brook Middle School in Houston ISD, where his leadership helped move the campus from a “F” to a “B” rating in just one year, with 86% of students demonstrating growth on Math STAAR assessments.
He previously served as Assistant Principal at Spring High School’s Ninth Grade Center and has held roles across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Mr. Suckie brings more than 10 years of experience in education, with a strong focus on academic achievement and student-centered innovation.
Mr. Suckie holds an Educational Specialist degree and a Master of Science in Educational Law and Policy from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Master of Arts in Criminology and Law from the University of Florida.
