Spring ISD is proud to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, observed nationally from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15, honoring the rich cultures, histories and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. 

Across Spring ISD, that celebration is especially meaningful. Hispanic students, families and staff are an integral part of the district community and contribute to the diversity, strength and character of its schools.

“Our diversity is one of our greatest strengths,” Superintendent Dr. Kregg Cuellar said. “The cultures, experiences and perspectives represented across Spring ISD make us stronger and create meaningful opportunities for our students to learn from one another. Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of our Hispanic community, honor the pride they bring to our schools and ensure every student knows their heritage and that their story matters.” 

Join the Celebration!

Spring ISD invites students, families, staff and community members to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month throughout the district. 

Community members are encouraged to share photos and highlights from campus celebrations on social media using #CelebremosSpring, and be sure to tag Spring ISD on Facebook, Instagram and X.

The district is also looking for students, teachers, staff members and community members whose stories and contributions deserve to be highlighted during Hispanic Heritage Month. 

Those interested in being featured can submit a Hispanic Heritage Month Spotlight form by Monday, Sept. 14. Selected individuals may be featured on Spring ISD’s social media channels as the district recognizes the people who help make the Spring ISD community stronger.

As Spring ISD celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month, the district encourages its entire community to learn, celebrate and recognize the many cultures, traditions and stories that make the district unique.
