Spring Independent School District invites passionate and purpose-driven professionals to attend its upcoming Teacher and Campus Support Job Fair on Saturday, Apr. 11, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at Dekaney High School, located at 22351 Imperial Valley Drive, Houston, TX 77073.

Students, families and staff filled the Heritage Elementary School cafeteria as the campus celebrated its 25th anniversary on Mar. 6, marking a major milestone for a school that has served generations of Spring ISD students and families.

Cheers, pom-poms, and emotional surprises filled the halls of two Spring ISD campuses this week as district leaders revealed the 2025–2026 Elementary and Secondary Principals of the Year, honoring two leaders whose impact reaches far beyond their school walls.

The Spring ISD Office of Communications was recognized with 36 Star Awards from the Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) for excellence in school communications during the 2024-25 school year, highlighted by a prestigious Crystal Commendation Award — one of the highest honors presented by the organization.

Spring ISD hosted its fifth annual Rising Writers Expo at Dekaney High School on Jan. 29, bringing together students, families and educators to celebrate the unique voices of youth and young adult writers across the district. Centered on this year’s theme, Once Upon Our Time, the event highlighted the power of storytelling and how writing helps students share who they are with the world.
