It was an evening filled with pride, applause, and heartfelt gratitude as Spring Independent School District (Spring ISD) celebrated hundreds of its exceptional educators who reached new heights — earning their first Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) designation or achieving a higher designation on Wednesday during the annual TIA Celebration at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.

It was a morning full of smiles, cheers, and surprise celebrations as the Spring ISD Communications team made their way across the district on Oct. 3, to recognize this month’s ClassDojo Champions—a dedicated teacher and a spirited campus that are redefining what strong school-to-home communication looks like.

From breakout sessions on literacy to hands-on technology demos, the Spring ISD Fall Learning Fair on Oct. 4 offered educators from across the district a day dedicated entirely to growth and collaboration. Hosted at Carl Wunsche Sr. High School, the event drew a record-breaking number of over 750 attendees, twice as many as last year, all focused on one goal: equipping every student for success.

The line started forming before the program even began. Parents with little ones in tow, students in their school shirts, campus staff, and longtime community partners wound through the lobby of the Randall Reed Community Center, each waiting for a turn to shake hands with Spring ISD’s new Superintendent, Dr. Kregg Cuellar, and snap a photo to mark the moment.

On the morning of Sept. 24th, just before dawn, Diana Martinez stepped off a plane at George Bush International Airport — her carry-on luggage in one hand and a folder of documents in the other.
