Bond 2022

With the new school year in full swing, Spring ISD is moving forward at full speed, fueled by a vision for excellence and progress. This summer, the district made significant strides on its 2022 Bond projects from major construction updates to systems updates, work that reflects the district’s continued focus on safe, modern, and functional learning environments for children.

Thanks to the continued support of our community and the strategic use of non-earmarked bond interest income funds, elementary schools across Spring ISD are receiving exciting upgrades to their playgrounds—bringing safer, more inclusive, and more engaging play environments to our students.

Con palas de oro en la mano y galletas glaseadas con representaciones arquitectónicas, Spring ISD inició oficialmente esta semana la construcción del proyecto más nuevo y visionario del distrito: el Centro de Instrucción y Rendimiento Educativo, o EPIC.

Set to rise just south of the Randall Reed Center at Planet Ford Stadium, the Education, Performance and Instruction Center, or EPIC, facility will stand as a beacon of student achievement across the district. Funded by the 2022 Bond and designed by HKS Architects, the $141 million project is expected to be completed by the 2026–27 school year.
