The Randall Reed Center shimmered with celebration on May 22 as Spring ISD honored the top graduates from each of its five high schools at the annual Valedictorian and Salutatorian Recognition Dinner.

Tanook Hines, estudiante de último año de Dekaney High School, no descubrió su pasión por la competición bajo las luces de un estadio o en la recta final de una pista. Comenzó de forma inesperada, con un simple volante que le entregó su hermano en la escuela secundaria.

Dekaney High School senior Tanook Hines didn’t discover his passion for competition under stadium lights or on a track’s final straightaway. It began unexpectedly, with a simple flyer handed to him by his brother back in middle school.

With smiles, applause, and the gleam of shiny, new framed certificates being passed from hand to hand, sixteen Spring ISD seniors took the next step toward their futures as they were honored during the 2025 Huntsman Scholarship Reception. Held in collaboration with the Huntsman Corporation, the reception recognized outstanding students across Spring ISD high schools for their achievements in STEM and business pathways.

Proud families and school staff gathered on April 17 inside Spring ISD’s Randall Reed Community Center at Planet Ford Stadium to celebrate the district’s ninth annual Future Educators Signing Day. The event honored 22 seniors from across Spring ISD high schools who have completed the district’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) education pathway.
