Students, staff, district leaders and community members at Spring ISD’s Dekaney High School gathered on Thursday morning to celebrate a special donation that will accelerate learning for the campus’s P-TECH automotive program.

With smiles, applause, and the gleam of shiny, new framed certificates being passed from hand to hand, sixteen Spring ISD seniors took the next step toward their futures as they were honored during the 2025 Huntsman Scholarship Reception. Held in collaboration with the Huntsman Corporation, the reception recognized outstanding students across Spring ISD high schools for their achievements in STEM and business pathways.

Proud families and school staff gathered on April 17 inside Spring ISD’s Randall Reed Community Center at Planet Ford Stadium to celebrate the district’s ninth annual Future Educators Signing Day.
