El equipo de relevos de 4×200 metros masculinos de la Escuela Secundaria Dekaney de Spring ISD hizo historia el sábado en los Campeonatos Estatales de Atletismo UIL 6A en Austin, ganando el título estatal y rompiendo su propio récord escolar con un tiempo ardiente de 1:23.56.

Spring ISD’s Dekaney High School’s 4×200-meter boys relay team made history on Saturday, May 3 at the UIL 6A State Track and Field Championships in Austin, winning the state title and breaking their own school record with a blazing time of 1:23.56.

With smiles, applause, and the gleam of shiny, new framed certificates being passed from hand to hand, sixteen Spring ISD seniors took the next step toward their futures as they were honored during the 2025 Huntsman Scholarship Reception. Held in collaboration with the Huntsman Corporation, the reception recognized outstanding students across Spring ISD high schools for their achievements in STEM and business pathways.

Proud families and school staff gathered on April 17 inside Spring ISD’s Randall Reed Community Center at Planet Ford Stadium to celebrate the district’s ninth annual Future Educators Signing Day. The event honored 22 seniors from across Spring ISD high schools who have completed the district’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) education pathway.

Los atletas de último año de las escuelas secundarias de Westfield, Spring y Dekaney se comprometieron oficialmente a continuar sus carreras atléticas y su educación firmando cartas de intención para asistir a las universidades que eligieron.
