Spring ISD Director of Data Quality and Compliance Roshunda Roberts was chosen as the December 2018 recipient, and Anderson Elementary School special education teacher Anne Michelson was recognized as the recipient for the January 2019 award.

Westfield High School College Counselor Dr. Clara Lauderdale has a lot of people depending on her. With over 700 seniors – and nearly 3,000 students overall on the Westfield campus – each working toward graduation and making plans for the future, Lauderdale has plenty of demands on her time and attention. But she takes it all in stride, taking a page straight from the advice she gives each day to students.

During a visit last week to the district’s Child Nutrition Center, the Spring ISD Board of Trustees awarded its final Employee Excellence Award for the 2017-18 school year to Maintenance Technician Johnny Winston.

Honoring an individual who has spent the past decade growing and shaping the district’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) curriculum, the Spring ISD Board of Trustees on Tuesday named Dr. Neelam Singh, the district’s core content director for science and math, as recipient of the April 2018 Employee Excellence Award.
