El espíritu de la Navidad y la alegría de la alfabetización llenaron los pasillos de la Escuela Secundaria Dekaney el 12 de diciembre, cuando el Departamento de Participación Familiar y Comunitaria (FACE) de Spring ISD llevó a cabo su celebración anual Winter Literacyland. El evento gratuito y familiar dio la bienvenida a más de 1,600 familias de todo el distrito, así como a asistentes de comunidades aledañas, para una velada dedicada a la lectura, el aprendizaje y la diversión navideña para todos.

The spirit of Christmas and the joy of literacy filled the halls of Dekaney High School on Dec. 12 as Spring ISD’s Family and Community Engagement Department hosted its annual Winter Literacyland celebration. The free, family-friendly event welcomed more than 1,600 families from across the district, as well as attendees from surrounding communities, for an evening dedicated to reading, learning and holiday fun for all.

Organized by the district’s Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Department, the annual Back-to-School Expo welcomed families from across the district for a morning filled with support, resources, and excitement for the new school year.
