Gifted and Talented

Tradicionalmente, los adultos son los que enseñan a los estudiantes una o dos cosas. Sin embargo, en la cafetería de la escuela secundaria Dekaney el jueves por la noche, los papeles se invirtieron cuando el Distrito Escolar Independiente de Spring organizó su exposición anual de superdotados y talentosos (GT). Los estudiantes genios dieron la bienvenida a las familias, a sus compañeros y al personal a una de las exhibiciones académicas más esperadas del año en el distrito. Dicen que todos los días se aprende algo nuevo, y este día no fue la excepción.

Traditionally, adults are the ones teaching students a thing or two. However, at Dekaney High School’s cafeteria on Thursday evening, the roles were reversed as Spring ISD hosted its annual Gifted and Talented (GT) Expo. The student geniuses welcomed families, their fellow students, and staff to one of the district’s most anticipated academic showcases of the year. They say you learn something new everyday, and this day was no exception.
