Spring ISD hosted its annual Gifted and Talented (G/T) Expo at Dekaney High School on March 26, bringing together more than 300 standout student projects from across the district for an evening centered on creativity, research and academic achievement.

Tradicionalmente, los adultos son los que enseñan a los estudiantes una o dos cosas. Sin embargo, en la cafetería de la escuela secundaria Dekaney el jueves por la noche, los papeles se invirtieron cuando el Distrito Escolar Independiente de Spring organizó su exposición anual de superdotados y talentosos (GT). Los estudiantes genios dieron la bienvenida a las familias, a sus compañeros y al personal a una de las exhibiciones académicas más esperadas del año en el distrito. Dicen que todos los días se aprende algo nuevo, y este día no fue la excepción.

Traditionally, adults are the ones teaching students a thing or two. However, at Dekaney High School’s cafeteria on Thursday evening, the roles were reversed as Spring ISD hosted its annual Gifted and Talented (GT) Expo. The student geniuses welcomed families, their fellow students, and staff to one of the district’s most anticipated academic showcases of the year. They say you learn something new everyday, and this day was no exception.

As Spring ISD prepares to open its new School for International Studies at Bammel this August, prospective families are invited to tour the school on June 1 at 8 a.m. …

During this week’s May meeting of the Spring ISD Board of Trustees, board members awarded Spring ISD Point of Pride awards to three district Odyssey of the Mind teams that finished in the top three for their divisions at the 2021 Texas Odyssey of the Mind State Finals tournament.
