Fue un día de alegre interrupción en seis escuelas del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Spring, en el que maestros sorprendidos fueron recibidos con aplausos, flashes de cámaras y visitas sorpresa que traían noticias que les cambiarían la vida: cada uno de ellos recibiría un cheque de $2,500 en reconocimiento a su sobresaliente impacto en el salón de clases. Las visitas sorpresa a los salones de clase, parte del programa de Escuelas de Honor -una organización nacional sin fines de lucro que trabaja en colaboración con las comunidades escolares para destacar a los educadores que cambian vidas- celebraron a seis destacados maestros de todo el distrito.

by Spring ISDDespite the rain and stormy weather that forced delays, postponements and relocations during this year’s Spring ISD graduation ceremonies, thousands of parents and family members gathered to celebrate over 2,000 graduates of the district’s six high schools – Spring Early College Academy, Carl Wunsche Sr. High School, Momentum High School, Dekaney High School, Spring High School, and Westfield High School.
