The morning buzzed with excitement and determination as Spring ISD’s Central Office staff came together for their first meeting of the school year on Sept. 24. The Community Engagement Center echoed with laughter and warm handshakes, but the mood sharpened when Superintendent Dr. Kregg Cuellar took the microphone, channeling the room’s energy into focus and purpose.

Los administradores, la Mesa Directiva, el personal y los voluntarios comunitarios del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Spring se reunieron el sábado por la mañana en la escuela secundaria Momentum para celebrar la Caminata del Éxito anual del distrito, un evento de alcance comunitario diseñado para conectar a las familias con los recursos disponibles y destacar la importancia de asistir a la escuela todos los días.

Spring ISD administrators, Board of Trustees, staff and community volunteers gathered at Momentum High School on Saturday morning for the district’s annual Success Walk, an outreach event designed to connect families with resources and highlight the importance of attending school every day.

En una votación unánime celebrada durante su reunión ordinaria del martes por la tarde, la Mesa Directiva del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Spring nombró oficialmente al Dr. Kregg Cuellar como el próximo superintendente de escuelas del distrito. Su contrato se firmó durante la reunión, tras el periodo de espera obligatorio de 21 días desde que fue nombrado finalista único el 18 de agosto.

In a unanimous vote at its regular board meeting Tuesday evening, the Spring ISD Board of Trustees officially appointed Dr. Kregg Cuellar as the district’s next superintendent of schools. His contract was signed during the meeting following the mandatory 21-day waiting period after being named Lone Finalist on Aug. 18.
