Spring ISD hosted its fifth annual Rising Writers Expo at Dekaney High School on Jan. 29, bringing together students, families and educators to celebrate the unique voices of youth and young adult writers across the district. Centered on this year’s theme, Once Upon Our Time, the event highlighted the power of storytelling and how writing helps students share who they are with the world.

El Distrito Escolar Independiente de Spring organizó su cuarta Exposición Anual de Rising Writers Expo (Escritores en Ascenso) en la Escuela Secundaria Dekaney, proporcionando a los estudiantes una oportunidad de mostrar sus talentos de escritura en un evento a nivel del distrito que celebra sus logros y destaca la importancia de la escritura y la autoexpresión.

Spring ISD hosted its fourth annual Rising Writers Expo at Dekaney High School, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their writing talents in a districtwide event that celebrates their achievements and highlights the importance of writing and self-expression.

En su reunión de enero, la Mesa Directiva de Spring ISD reconoció a 15 estudiantes actuales y anteriores de Spring ISD que fueron seleccionados por iWRITE Literacy Organization y The Bryan Museum en Galveston como ganadores, cuyo trabajo se publicara en “I Am Texas”, un libro de siete pies de altura y posiblemente el libro más grande del mundo, con la escritura y el arte de los estudiantes.
