Coloridas presentaciones, exhibiciones culturales y logros estudiantiles fueron los protagonistas el 27 de mayo durante el primer Festival Internacional de la Coalición Multicultural de Spring ISD. Realizado en el Star Theater de Dekaney High School, el evento distrital reunió a estudiantes, familias y miembros del personal para celebrar las culturas, tradiciones e historias que dan forma a la comunidad de Spring ISD.

Colorful performances, cultural displays and student achievements took center stage on May 27 as Spring ISD hosted its inaugural Multicultural Coalition International Festival. Held at Dekaney High School’s Star Theater, the districtwide event brought together students, families and staff to celebrate the cultures, traditions and stories that help shape the Spring ISD community.

Spring ISD hosted its fifth annual Rising Writers Expo at Dekaney High School on Jan. 29, bringing together students, families and educators to celebrate the unique voices of youth and young adult writers across the district. Centered on this year’s theme, Once Upon Our Time, the event highlighted the power of storytelling and how writing helps students share who they are with the world.

El Distrito Escolar Independiente de Spring organizó su cuarta Exposición Anual de Rising Writers Expo (Escritores en Ascenso) en la Escuela Secundaria Dekaney, proporcionando a los estudiantes una oportunidad de mostrar sus talentos de escritura en un evento a nivel del distrito que celebra sus logros y destaca la importancia de la escritura y la autoexpresión.
