HOUSTON – Jan. 14, 2016 – Spring Independent School District is committed to ensuring that every student achieves their full academic potential. To meet this goal, the district needs to hear from parents, students and staff.
Beginning, Tuesday, Jan. 19 Spring ISD stakeholders — teachers, principals, parents and students — will have the opportunity to weigh in on critical issues affecting the quality of education in the district through an online survey.
“We are committed to keeping an open line of communication between the district and our stakeholders,” said Spring ISD Superintendent Dr. Rodney Watson. “This school quality survey will allow us to capture our parents’ thoughts about their students’ campus experience, including academics, access to school leaders, diversity and student support. We will use that information to continue strengthening Spring ISD.”
The survey, which is administered by independent research partner K12 Insight, will be available through Friday, Jan. 29. All responses are confidential, and no one at the district will be able to identify who participated or connect respondents to their answers.
Parents and staff will receive an email invitation to take the survey, which is available in English and Spanish. Parents with children at more than one campus will have the opportunity to rate each campus. The survey will also be accessible at www.springisd.org. Students in grades 6-12 will be able to take the survey at school through the mySpringISD student portal.
