Westfield students rehearse a scene for their annual performance of “A Journey Through Time.”
HOUSTON – Jan. 19, 2016 – The Westfield High School Theater Department and Mustang Players will present “A Journey Through Time 2016: A Celebration of Black History Through Words, Song and Dance” at 7 p.m. Jan. 21-23 and Feb. 4-6 in the Westfield Performing Arts Center.
The show is designed to enlighten and educate mature audiences about the history of the African American culture overtime from its beginning to present day, using words, music and dance. An annual tradition at Westfield, it involves about 50 students in ninth through 12th grades.
Tickets are $12 at the door and online at the Westfield Theater Company website. Senior gold cards will be accepted.
