HOUSTON – Sept. 26, 2016 – Sign up for a day of fellowship, fundraising and golf at the Spring ISD Education Foundation’s annual “Tee Up for Education” golf tournament Monday, Oct. 17 at Northgate Country Club. The tournament includes lunch, dinner, a $100,000 Shoot Out, a golf clinic with Mancil Davis at 10 a.m., and numerous contests starting at 10:30 a.m. Tee time is 12 noon.
Contests include putting, hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to the pin. Non-golfers are encouraged to attend the dinner, awards ceremony and raffle at 5:30 p.m. Although raffle tickets may be purchased in advance, they will also be available at the event. Numerous items, including an E-Z-Go Freedom TXT golf cart, a Dyna-Glo five-burner LP gas grill, a River Grille Smoker, a Weber Smokey Joe Charcoal Grill, golf packages, tickets to the Shell Houston Open and a Topgolf package, will be on display. The drawing for the raffles will take place at the event, although participants need not be present to win.
All funds raised from the tournament directly benefit Spring ISD students.
