HOUSTON – Nov. 29, 2016 – The Spring ISD Project SAFE after-school and family engagement program is hosting a job fair for parents and community members from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 at the Spring ISD Child Nutrition and Training Center, 15330 Kuykendahl. Several local employers – including retail businesses, manufacturers, public service organizations and colleges – will be represented at the fair.
About Project SAFE: Project SAFE serves kindergarten through twelfth-grade students at Bammel, Eickenroht, Hoyland, Major, Ponderosa and Salyers elementary schools; Bailey, Bammel and Wells middle schools; and Dekaney and Westfield high schools. The program is funded by a $1.8 million 21st Century Community Learning Center grant from the Texas Education Agency and a $156,800 21st Century Community Learning Center grant from Harris County Department of Education.
