With the emergence of the Omicron variant as well as changing guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, Spring ISD is updating its protocols related to the reporting of positive cases for the spring semester.
The biggest shift from the previous guidance is a 5-day rather than a 10-day isolation period for those who test positive. The full list of protocols can be found in the COVID Protocols document.
The COVID Positive Test Form will need to be completed by a campus principal, nurse, designated administrator, or supervisor for any staff member or student who reports positive test results.
Spring ISD will continue to monitor developments with the pandemic and provide updates as needed, with the focus remaining on educating students and accelerating their learning through the end of the school year.
