The Westfield high school football team will face Duncanville on Saturday, Dec. 3, in Georgetown for the 2022 Region II-6A Division I state quarterfinals – its first appearance in the quarterfinals since 2019.
“We are very excited for the game and remain optimistic,” said Spring ISD Athletic Director Armando Jacinto. “We understand the big task at hand, but our team is relentless and we hope to make our way to the state tournament.”
The Westfield players have put in a lot of effort and left everything on the field this year, posting a 9-1 record in the regular season and advancing past Conroe, Klein Collins, and Waxahachie through the first three rounds of the playoffs.
“We commend our players, coaches, and the entire Spring ISD community for helping make this season a success,” Jacinto said
