Spanish Spelling Bee

La nublada mañana del sábado 8 de noviembre en la escuela primaria Booker cobró vida con alegres decoraciones amarillas y negras con temática de abejas, ya que el distrito escolar Spring ISD celebró su novena edición anual del concurso de ortografía/deletreo en español, en el que participaron los mejores deletreadores de las escuelas primarias e intermedias del distrito. Estudiantes, familias y personal, incluidos directores y maestros, se reunieron para celebrar el bilingüismo, el orgullo cultural y la excelencia académica.

The cloudy Saturday morning of Nov. 8 at Booker Elementary School came alive with cheerful bee-themed yellow and black decorations as Spring ISD hosted its 9th Annual Spanish Spelling Bee featuring the district’s top spellers from elementary and middle schools. Students, families, and staff—including principals and teachers—gathered to celebrate bilingualism, cultural pride, and academic excellence.

On Saturday, November 9th, 2024, Booker Elementary School was filled with excitement as the Spring ISD Multilingual Department hosted the 8th Annual Spring ISD Spanish Spelling Bee. Families gathered to support and cheer on their children, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and pride as students showcased their Spanish language skills.

El Departamento Multilingüe de Spring ISD organizó el sábado el sexto concurso anual de deletreo en español de Spring ISD, que brindó a los estudiantes la oportunidad de aprender y aplicar nuevo vocabulario, aumentar sus habilidades para hablar, desarrollar una mejor pronunciación del idioma y mejorar las habilidades de comunicación en general.
