
The ceremony began with about 70 honorees signing the register before being introduced to a standing-room only audience that included Spring ISD Board Trustees and Superintendent Dr. Rodney Watson. It concluded with a candlelight recessional.
Inductees from the Spring ISD Early College Academy are Fatimah Bhuiyan, Andrea Madison, Justin Malbreaux, Mariana Meraz, Alexandra Moreno, Brittany Pitcher, Mariana Ramirez, Orlando Rivera, Benita Sabu, Jocelyn Sauceda, Jessica Selim, Noelle Thurman, Erick Vazquez and Nina Yates.
Established in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa is the official honor society for two-year colleges. As such, it serves to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and provide opportunities for individual growth and development through honors, leadership and service programming.
