Three Spring ISD Board Trustees who ran unopposed in the November General Election were sworn in to office on Tuesday during the Board’s work session, and officers for 2023 also were elected.

Trustees Dr. Deborah Jensen (Position 1) and Kelly P. Hodges (Position 2) were sworn in, as well as President Justine Durant (Position 3). Each will serve three-year terms.

Trustees signed and were presented with a certificate of election, followed by a swearing-in ceremony conducted by Spring ISD Director of Board Services Jason Sheffer.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, the Board elected officers for 2023. Trustee Justine Durant was elected president; Trustee Winford Adams was elected vice president; Trustee Kelly P. Hodges was elected secretary; and Trustee Rhonda Newhouse was elected assistant secretary.
