Marshall Elementary School students receive brand new bikes thanks to their reading efforts

Thousands Gather for Spring ISD’s Winter Wonderland, Taking Home nearly 45,000 free Books and Holiday Joy
by Spring ISDA magical evening of winter cheer and a celebration of reading took place last Friday night at Planet Ford Stadium. The annual Winter Wonderland event, free for all, welcomed hundreds of families from across the area. From the laughter of children to the joy of parents sharing special moments with their kids, the event perfectly combined holiday magic with a love for learning.

The Family and Community Engagement building is set to receive a new name and a major upgrade to its facilities. Thanks to the bond approved in 2022 and a unanimous vote by the school board in August, the building will be renamed in honor of the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.

Premium Goods, a Houston-based boutique sneaker store, visited Dekaney High School on November 21 to surprise Auto Tech students with a fresh pair of Premium Goods x Adidas Campus sneakers. Along with the gift, Premium Goods announced it would donate a portion of the proceeds from the Adidas release to support the Dekaney Auto Tech program.
