What seemed like just another Saturday in April turned into an unforgettable morning for 60 senior girls in Spring ISD, who had the opportunity to find their dream prom dress—completely free of charge. Now in its second year, the Graceful Gowns Initiative once again brought joy, confidence, and a sense of empowerment to students preparing for one of the most significant milestones of their high school journey—prom night.

Con un sentido de expectativa en el aire, casi 300 hombres jóvenes de todo Spring ISD entraron a Dekaney High School para la 7ma Cumbre Anual de Empoderamiento de Jóvenes del distrito. Organizada por el Departamento de Participación Familiar y Comunitaria del distrito, la cumbre reunió a estudiantes de las escuelas intermedias y secundarias para un día de tutoría, discusiones significativas y actividades atractivas dirigidas a crear el éxito personal y académico.

With a sense of anticipation in the air, nearly 300 young men from across Spring ISD stepped into Dekaney High School for the district’s 7th annual Boys’ Empowerment Summit. Hosted by the district’s Family and Community Engagement Department, the summit brought together middle and high school students for a day of mentorship, meaningful discussions, and engaging activities aimed at creating personal and academic success.

Una noche mágica de alegría invernal y celebración de la lectura tuvo lugar el pasado viernes por la noche en el estadio Planet Ford. El evento anual Winter Wonderland, o Maravilla Invernal, gratuito para todos, acogió a cientos de familias de toda la zona. Desde las risas de los niños hasta la alegría de los padres al compartir momentos especiales con sus hijos, el evento combinó a la perfección la magia navideña con el amor por el aprendizaje.

A magical evening of winter cheer and a celebration of reading took place last Friday night at Planet Ford Stadium. The annual Winter Wonderland event, free for all, welcomed hundreds of families from across the area. From the laughter of children to the joy of parents sharing special moments with their kids, the event perfectly combined holiday magic with a love for learning.
