Spring ISD celebró la dedicación, excelencia e impacto de sus 567 educadores reconocidos a través del Programa de Incentivos para Maestros (TIA) durante la tercera ceremonia anual de reconocimiento del programa TIA del distrito, celebrada el miércoles 7 de octubre en el Hotel y Centro de Convenciones The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.

Spring ISD celebrated the dedication, excellence and impact of its 567 Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) designated educators during the district’s third annual TIA Recognition Event on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.

During a special-called session on Tuesday, the Spring Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a contract extension for Superintendent Dr. Kregg Cuellar through 2031, reaffirming its confidence in his leadership and commitment to the district’s continued progress.

The action comes less than a year after Dr. Cuellar was named Superintendent of Schools and follows a year marked by academic gains, organizational improvements, and a renewed focus on accountability, student achievement, and customer service across the district.

Los aplausos resonaron y los destellos de las cámaras iluminaron la arena mientras 2,140 estudiantes de último año de Spring ISD cruzaban el escenario en el Centro Educativo M.O. Campbell, lo que culminaba una celebración que se extendió durante tres días y seis ceremonias. Estudiantes de las escuelas secundarias Spring, Westfield, Dekaney, Carl Wunsche Sr., La Academia Spring Early College y Momentum vivieron su gran momento: cambiaron la borla de lado, escucharon sus nombres y recibieron sus diplomas.

Cheers echoed and camera flashes lit the arena as 2,140 Spring ISD seniors crossed the stage at the M.O. Campbell Educational Center, capping a weekend-long celebration that stretched across three days and six ceremonies. Students from Spring High School, Westfield High School, Dekaney High School, Carl Wunsche Sr. High School, Spring Early College Academy and Momentum High School each had their moment in the spotlight — tassels turning, names called and diplomas earned.
